The Lloyd’s Register Foundation Heritage & Education Centre publishes original content from a variety of authors on our website through our stories portal.
Our aim is to challenge the way people think about maritime history and to celebrate the stories of the sea. Our mission is to increase understanding across the world of the importance of maritime safety to a sustainable and efficient ocean economy. We want to be innovative and forward thinking with our stories and digital content, putting maritime history at the forefront of discussions about the ocean economy.

Pitches received will then go to a monthly review board. We will then inform you if we would like you to submit a first draft. Drafts will then be peer reviewed and edited before publishing on our website.
The time frame for proposal to publication is two to three months but we may hold content back to coincide with an anniversary or event. Please do not submit a proposal if you are unable to commit to this time frame.
