Struck on Grand Lejon Rock on 17 December and broke in two, after part and midship submerged, owners speak of her as a total loss Shipping news extracts: Struck at 3am, sank an hour after, but the crew of 10 saved themselves in one of the boats and arrived at Legue at 3pm. The crew are reported to have left the vessel before she stranded. The ship's engines were salved with the help of divers.
