Collided with British steamer Oakfield. Amaler reached by own means quay wall, entrance Flushing dock where she moored. On October 6 reported as holed starboard side, beached off Flushing and capsized on port side. Position critical as she is resting on forepart only and aft is 14 fathoms nearly submerged at high water. Prospects salvage doubtful, tenders asked.
